On all information surfaces that should be used for Messages there must be areas inserted that will accept a message. These Vertical Message areas are managed with the Surface Editor. For more information, see “Surface Editing”.

Below is the page for Message Editing. To the left is a list with all available Messages. Click the button or the link Create new Message, or click an existing Message, to open the Message Editor. With a long list of Messages, use the filter function above the list. Enter text in the field to reduce the number of Messages in the list.

On the page is displayed a complete Message, as it appears on the information surfaces of the Branch. On this page are shown all Surface Applications containing Vertical Message components, available in the system:

When clicking a surface in this list, the Edit page for that specific surface is opened, for example a Touch Screen on an Intro 8 printer:

To the left is the preview of the information surface with the Vertical Message area. To the right are the images that can be placed on the surface. A click on an image inserts it in the Vertical Message area on the surface.

There is a zoom slider at the top.

For ticket surfaces, it is possible to select Align Left or Align Right for text that is entered.

Use the button Clear content, to remove an image from the surface.

There is a button to upload new images to the system.

Remember to Save all changes, by clicking Save in the Message Editor when you are done.
