Services

In the Services tab, all available Services are listed:

Services in Calendar vs in Orchestra

The Orchestra Calendar keeps its own Service objects. Typically, you as an administrator must make sure that the applicable Service(s) are used in a Queueing Profile in Orchestra. Also, the check box Booking enabled must be checked for the relevant Service(s), in the Business Configuration application.

The Fetch button, . is then used to fetch the Service settings from Orchestra to the Calendar.
There is a setting in the System Settings tab where you can disable the synchronization of Services.
To delete a Service, simply click the delete button, , in the Actions column.
To create a new Service, click the Create new Service button and the following window is opened:
Here you enter the following information:
Name - name of the Service.
Enabled - check this check box to make the Service enabled.
Duration - enter the default duration of the Service, in minutes.
Additional customer duration - enter additional duration in minutes here.

Orchestra Service Id - the Id that is used for the Service in Orchestra.

Enable public booking - check this check box to make the Service available for public booking.
If you instead click on the wanted Service in the list, you will open a window where you can edit the Service. This window is the same as the Create new Service window, with the exception that you can also see the Public Id of the Service in the Edit Service window. Public Id is a 64 character identifier, used by the Public Booking API.
