Introduction

This chapter details architecture and deployment for implementing Orchestra in an HA (High Availability) configuration.
If running Business Intelligence in a clustered environment, see “Setting up Business Intelligence in a clustered environment” .

Supported environments - Orchestra and stat

The following set-ups are supported:
• Hot/Cold - both servers are running but Orchestra service is only started on one of them. Supported for all scenarios.
• Hot standby - Orchestra service is started on both servers, but all traffic is directed to one of them. This is only supported when all Queue Agents are distributed, i.e when there are no central branches.
The descriptions below only cover Hot/Cold configuration.

Supported environments - Business Intelligence

The following set-up is supported:
• Hot/Hot - Traffic is directed to both servers.
