Introduction

This appendix describes how to manually encrypt and introduce Business Intelligence database passwords. On a high level, the following steps need to be done:

1. Encrypt the passwords

2. Modify context.xml

3. Modify repository.xml

4. Modify hibernate-settings.xml

5. Restart Business Intelligence

The steps are explained in the section below.
